We specialize in painting, finishing, and other types of work in out of reach areas, both small and large in scale and scope.   This ranges from everything from localized specialty work to full multi-story exteriors and unique structures.  

We plan access carefully and use the right approach for each situation, including ladders, lifts, scaffolding, or rope access. Safety is central to how we work, and we collaborate closely with customers to plan access, protection, and timing so the job is completed safely and correctly. This capability allows us to take on work others can’t—or won’t—while maintaining the same standards of preparation and finish quality.

Historic & Specialty Surfaces

Thoughtful finishing for historic homes, buildings, and unique surfaces

We work on historic homes, buildings, and specialty surfaces in collaboration with our customers to preserve the character and aesthetic they value while improving durability and longevity. We also work with customers to finish unique items whether it be a bike frame or a loved wood chair. 

These projects require time, research, and judgment. We take care to understand existing materials, choose appropriate preparation methods, and recommend finishes that align with the history, use, and long-term performance of each surface—whether it’s a building, an architectural element, or a one-of-a-kind feature.

Design-Build & Custom Construction Projects

We work closely with custom home builders and design-build teams on new construction, renovations, and architecturally detailed projects. Our role is to coordinate timing, sequencing, and materials so finishing work integrates smoothly with the broader build process. Across all services, we are known for preparation standards, material knowledge, and experienced judgment. We work with wood, plaster, drywall, concrete, metal, and engineered surfaces, and we help clients weigh tradeoffs that affect durability, performance, maintenance, and cost.

Our finish work includes paints, stains, sealers, varnishes, polyurethanes, oils, primers, and protective coatings, selected for the surface, setting, and real use of the space. We focus on surface preparation, adhesion, and compatibility—because this is where projects succeed or fail.

Whenever possible, we use low-VOC, water-based, and environmentally responsible products without compromising longevity. When performance requires otherwise, we explain the options and decide with the client.
